• Intelligent Design or Brand Evolution?

  I've created a whole bunch of stuff over the last couple of years, part of which can be seen on the blog and via the portfolio. Now, while these creations don't get old, they don't get young either. It's time to mature and get out in the open. This means I get to talk. To you. About commissions, licensing graphics, cross-marketing, and business development in general.

  LYROIS is my brand and its evolution is not going to end anytime soon but for mutating into something fit for survival, I need to infuse some creativity into the marketing genes, evolutionarily speaking.

  Here is a short list of directions this could go --

  • Lyrois patterns on airplanes (blueprints available)
  • Lyrois suited & tied in the streets
  • Lyrois on products, wine, & whiskey...
  • Lyrois shapes as light installations
  • Lyrois shapes on skyscraper windows
  • Lyrois shapes as 3D sculptures in public places (dims. & materials worked out)
  • Lyrois on decks of cards
  • Lyrois bags in a brand collab (no prints on something already done, instead, a complete product prototype is available)
  • Lyrois shapes on snow/surfboards
  • Lyrois manikins as collector items in steel, glas, stone, acrylic
  • Lyrois gobos in a movie
  • Lyrois shades as a special series
  • Lyrois stilettos as a brand collab
  • Lyrois chairs in mass-production
  • Lyrois wallpapers produced in limited editions
  • Lyrois wirestar anamorphic images on the green of a stadium
  • Lyrois shapes/figures produced as toys (did someone say Japan?)
  • Lyrois shapes in bespoke furniture (sample blueprints/mock-ups available)

  I could -- and, did in part -- produce all of this myself, but that's not the point.

  Again, coming up with ideas is not the problem, production and execution isn't a big deal either.

  Where it's at is bringing it to the brands. You get nice offspring with two sets of good genes, one set of even the best genes just won't do.

  These are my genes: Notoriously sampled signature shapes and shadows -- original works, commercial projects, collaborations, and customizations, in other words: intelligent design...

  I'm in the market for your genes, the cool thing is that, as opposed to traditional mating, we can be as promiscuous as we want, with all positive results.
